Not sure what year of VW Herbie the Love Bug was, so this might not belong on
the SSTOT list, so advance apologies if not. But...

... I just picked up a 5-pack called "Herbie Fully Loaded" by Johnny
Lightning from Wal*Mart tonight. The pack I found (variation B) includes THREE
old Herbies - one white with racing stripes and the #53, one chrome with racing
stripes and the #53, and one weathered and rusted "junkyard" version with
racing stripes and the #53, as well as a 2004 Beetle and a 2004 GTO (go figure
why they put a GTO in a HERBIE pack). This is one of TWO 5-car packs of
Herbies... the other pack variation comes with all of the above except it swaps
the GTO for a 4th Herbie - a demolition version of Herbie... but it retains the
(non-Herbie) 2004 Beetle. The pack clearly states on the back that these are
1/64 scale. See this set at the link below :

I also managed to find a decent Matchbox item while at Wal*Mart... a 1956
Ford Truck that actually looks to be 1/64 scale... same truck as the ones at
the link below, but in a standard Matchbox blister pack and a different color :

  Check'em out! And... happy hunting!
