Ed....One interesting aspect of ELMER'S white glue is that it 
dissolves fairly easily when soaked in ordinary water.  I use it to 
glue down flex track and it holds very well.  But if a change is 
needed, I can spray the area with water from a squirt bottle and let 
it soak for about 5 or 6 minutes.  Then the track can easily be 
moved sideways for small adjustments or it can be lifted straight up 
and removed.  A damp rag then wipes up any glue residue.  When dry, 
a flat smooth surface awaits your attention once again.  I have 
heard that yellow glue does not dissolve nearly so easily and so 
white glue should be used if you anticipate changes.  Not sure about 
matte medium since I have never used it for this purpose.  Have
