Ed....One interesting aspect of ELMER'S white glue is that it
dissolves fairly easily when soaked in ordinary water. I use it to
glue down flex track and it holds very well. But if a change is
needed, I can spray the area with water from a squirt bottle and let
it soak for about 5 or 6 minutes. Then the track can easily be
moved sideways for small adjustments or it can be lifted straight up
and removed. A damp rag then wipes up any glue residue. When dry,
a flat smooth surface awaits your attention once again. I have
heard that yellow glue does not dissolve nearly so easily and so
white glue should be used if you anticipate changes. Not sure about
matte medium since I have never used it for this purpose. Have
fun...Ed L.
