"I know the ON3 EBT hoppers look good when converted to the
Superior scale. I have seen some of the Bachmann On30 line but never
noticed steel sided cars.
Does anyone have one of these and a ruler? I'm curious how long,
wide and tall the body is? ( either scale dimensions or actual inches
would be fine) I'm wondering if I could make an SP ballast hopper from
one? But not at $72, hope that was a typo!......Dave"
,
Dave,
The size is .................
37.5' L x 10' W x 9' H (Scale feet) Height not counting the bins.
It sits 12.5 scale feet off the track.
(6-15/16th L x 1-7/8th x 1-1/2 Inches)
This [Snyder Coal] hopper has run well on my layout for years.
The hopper is named after John Snyder, the EBT member who gave the model to me.
John, (Retired high school German teacher) has served on the EBT board and has
worked very hard at the EBT for years as a volunteer.
I'm impressed with the $72.00 bid.
"S"ee ya,
Bill
