and he notes - The list price is $72.00 for 2 per box ($36.00 each) on Bachmann's web site:
http://www.discounttrainsonline.com/O-Scale-Freight-Cars-Bachmann/O_FRT_160_3.html (I tried their checkout and that price was confirmed). This outfit is selling them at $53.90 for two - but their list price is 5 bucks more - still not bad at $26.95 each: http://www.discounttrainsonline.com/O-Scale-Freight-Cars-Bachmann/O_FRT_160_3.html They look like they would need some modifications to make 'em S Scale - more grab irons, brake gear etc. & trucks and couplers of course. So add another 5 or 6 bucks per car for new hardware. I wonder if anyone has tried modifying their camp cars? http://www.discounttrainsonline.com/Bachmann-On30-Camp-Car-Saw-Filers-Car/item160-26994.html Raleigh in Maine - where it is c-o-o-l-d!
