Gents....Here we go again. The photo in the 'Ed L's stuff' album shows
a black depressed center flat car in between an SHS covered hopper and
the now-famous Bachman On30 hopper car. The flat car has been spliced
from a non-S product. It might have been the length, width, or
thickness or some of the above or all of the above that has been
spliced. You didn't want this to be too easy, did you? The flat car's
load is not part of the quiz. The large white square with the '75' in
it is a sign commemorating the 75th anniversary of GE -- the
manufacturer of the load. Again, this sign is not part of the car and
is not part of the quiz. Who can recognize the original origin (that
is your clue) of this flat car? Good luck -- you will need it. No
more easy stuff this time. 'S'miles....Ed L.
