The AM BLW runs great as it has a double turn worm - comparable to a SHS SW1 or
SW9 but it has the wrong trucks - Ron used road switcher trucks 9'4" wheelbase
as on RS3 etc not 8'0" switcher trucks which would require a new bogie block /
mouldings. You can use a SHS switcher truck - but its a lot of work - its on my
task list as is making a BLW RS12 from a AM RS3 chassis and two AM BLW S12
bodies.....

Have fun

Baldwin Diesel Switcher Question

Hi All You "S" Heads:

Any of you own a scale version of the American Models Baldwin switcher? If
so, how does it perform?

I think I feel a slight rumbling of an urge to model stirring within... :-)

Noted the AM Baldwin swticher is on sale. Wouldn't take much to coax me into
picking up one in CB&Q.

Thanks for any input.

Andre
