Hey Ed,
I've heard about the NYC track pans and always wanted to see a movie of
one in action. I've seen a still photo and it looked awesome. When the
scoops hit the water at 70-80 MPH they set off a spray from under the
tender that extended out 15 feet on either side (that might be hard to
simulate on your layout but let me know when you try so I can come
watch) dousing anything or anybody in the way. But, it should be a very
neat detail for your layout so please post a photo when you get it
done.
