Hmmm.  I don't see a "low speed gearing" option (only AC or  DC) at the AM 
order page, though it is mentioned in the product features paragraphs.

Okay, so I'm buying either a CB&Q or ATSF Zebra.  Now I just need to wait 
until AM responds to my email inquiry about the low speed option and if the 
sale price is still in effect.  Neat little switcher... for now I can live 
with its inaccuracies in view of its intended purpose.  (Knowing me, 
though... I'll eventually want to FIX it and make it more ACCURATE... and it 
will have the paint stripped, then disassembled, parts cut off, then FOREVER 
be on the workbench in such a state.  Sheesh.)
