Another satisfied customer. Excellent! Just this afternoon ordered a "DC
scale" CB&Q S12 w/slow gearing. Looking forward to receiving it. This will
be my first "decorated" locomotive that is APPROPRIATE for my chosen era.

Wonderful news.

I intend to take more advantage of their locomotive products "eventually".
I'm eyeballing the GP9 (would be turned into a 7), the RS3, and the FA2's.
However, IF an RTR Missouri Pacific FA2 doesn't "happen" by the time I'm to
that point and have to burn to get one... I may get one and bash it into an
FA1 and paint it Frisco. The blue/grey Mop scheme is a BOOGER to paint.
(Becaue of those those cream pinstripes.) However, I've painted several
Frisco black/yellow F's in HO. Have any of you kitbashed the AM FA2 into an
FA1?

Now, having said that about AM products, I do hope they discontinue the
trend toward "Gription" traction tires. I want all the metal touching the
rails as is possible (electrical contact), and I DON'T desire the artificial
traction "enhancement" brought about by traction tires. If all of the line
is eventually going to be "upgraded" to Gription... I need to purchase what
I want soon, before the malady spreads.
