Hi Ed....Well, Tim just offered a million dollars if someone could
convince some hard core scale guys to accept modified AF operating
accessories. I wanted to jump at the bait before it got yanked
away. Not sure if I made it in time, but I tried.

If Tim follows through on his million dollar offer, it would be worth
it to me. But then again, I am greedy. Gotta earn some money to pay
for the layout itself. Charging my train buddies an admission fee
seems to be unpopular although I thought it was a great idea.

Would sawdust be OK? Not quite as messy. And think of the cattle
car's aroma. Wife might object, but da train guys would feel right
at home. As least the milk car would be a fairly clean experience.
And I already have a creamery on the layout.

their individual layouts? What am I missing?
Well, you might miss out on a million dollars of Tim Boy Prize
Money. Just think of all the imported brass models that would buy.
We are now waiting for Tim Brown to follow through with his deposit
before getting started. Earl Henry offered to be the neutral third
party that will hold the prize money. Atta boy, Earl. Who gets to
keep the interst?
This might even earn the winner a photo in the S GAUGIAN magazine.
Fame as well as fortune.
Cheers.....Ed "tongue in cheek" L.
