Dear Mike,
When I could see better, I scratched a Reading an all wood coaling
trestle from prototype plans the Anthracite Historical Society published
in a Reading MOW plan book. Every 4th tie is longer (much longer than a
standard tie) and the walkways on both sides are attached to the end of
the tie. The three ties in between are short, only as long as the very
large beams below that carry the weight. I guess I could scan and send
as a .pdf file. Can we upload .pdf files to the files section of our
e-group?
Best regards,
Don
