    Hi John, 12 by 32 is large enough to be built stick built if
desired. I'd do  cost comparison of fully finished modular or fully
finished home built and go with the cheapest, compare apples to
apples. . The foundation or supporting  method will cost about the
same for either shell method so pick that and add it to the total
costs. I know for myself that I could build from scratch for less
money and for less trouble but I've got the time and experience. Your
climate will be a major factor in the type of foundation needed. Your
local zoning will also be a big part of the choice, if it is fast and
easy to get a permit for a permanent building? or if you are allowed
to use mobile office trailers for instance? ( if you can park a
contractors jobsite office there it would probably be the most
effective mobile solution)...dave
