Just a few comments: (1) If your decision to purchase a DCC system
was based entirely on one phone call to each of three manufacturers,
I would say that you did not explore things very thoroughly. (2) If
you have already purchased a Digitrax system, why bother now to ask
what other folks prefer? (3) Asking someone to read a manual should
not be construed as 'poor service' as long as the topic is clearly
explained in the manual -- which it is with NCE (don't know about the
others). (4) If you are contemplating a change of DCC systems,
merely asking strangers on a Yahoo Group what they prefer is not a
very good way to evaluate the various competing DCC systems.
Regardless, good luck in your DCC journey. Ed L.
