Hey Hoser,
Coming from a hoser who models CNR branchline activities that somehow
interchange with the Mighty PRR that's a pretty interesting estimation of
the demographics of what we model. Then again, I know another hoser who
models CNR with a Pennsy branchline that somehow interchanges with and runs
on the CNR, eh? Well, I figure that's okay 'cause it's my [EMAIL PROTECTED]
railway.
As for degree, it was -17C today, -28C with the windchill factor. So, up
here we're all hoser RR modellers, no question about degree because ya gotta
have vestibule cab (known as all-weather cab to non-CNR afficianados) or
semi-vestibule cab with thick curtains in order to survive in the steam
era. Thank the Lord for whoever sold us the first Elesco Feedwater Heater
('W' or 'K' version) and the Elesco Exhaust Steam Injector!
Well I guess I will just have to take the winter chill off with a cool one.
An ice cold Steam Whistle Pilsner brewed at the CPR Roundhouse would do the
trick.
cheers, eh?
