Had to chuckle over this, at our monthly greenville nrhs dinner mtg a 
second guy who has a gorgeous HO layout said 'if i had it to do over 
again i would go to s scale'.... pretty soon i will become a hero 
here as the only s scaler, whereas the reality was i was too lazy to 
change scales when i converted from am flyer to scale in the late 
1950s, and bernie thomas, frank titman, etc were so nice to me.....
