"O" (Oh) is 1/4" or 1:48. But "0" (zero) is 7mm / 8mm/ 1:43 / 1/45 and  
maybe others.  7mm is were we get H0 at 1:87.  And 8mm spawned 00 and  
000 at 4mm and 2mm respectively.  There was also the short lived OO  
(OhOh) at 1/8" or 1:96.  Any one confused yet
As for the "LS" "Large Scales" see my previous response to this thread.
