I had my Locomotive Workshop Alco FB-2 pulling about 40 cars
single-handed at the 1984 NASG convention in Buffalo, New York. It
would have easily handled more if we'd had 'em.
On a prototype note, one Santa Fe's FM switch engines handled ninety
cars from Joliet to Lockport, IL, on a local I was working one time,
and uphill, to boot.
