Bill: As long as you are working on you're railroad, you won't croak anytime soon. It has been my experience here, that guys that keep active modeling or working on their railroads, live infinately longer than their nonactive counterparts. It seems that over the years, our older modeling customers seem to greatly outlive our straight collecting customers. I have no scientific data to base that observation on, except it seems the active guys live a lot longer.
