The military did a study a long time ago on retirees. They found that those that retired to the rocking chair had a life expectancy of 10 years. Those that chose an active life style outlived them by a lot. It has been my experience here, that guys that keep active modeling or working on their railroads, live infinately longer than their nonactive counterparts. It seems that over the years, our older modeling customers seem to greatly outlive our straight collecting customers. I have no scientific data to base that observation on, except it seems the active guys live a lot longer. You have fun too.
