Hi All, I am starting up making with my new yard modules. This 1 will be significantly simpler because I am using ground throws, at least while it will be traveling. I may eventually retire it and install switch motors.
I have just received a nice order of code 100 Tomalco turnouts that Larry made DCC ready for me. They are all #5 or 6. I also have some turnouts Larry made for me from SHS code 125 rail. What model number Caboose Industries ground throw would you recommend I get for them? I know that some have built in electrical contacts. Should I get that model? I would really like to get the normal 1 if possible in case 1 gets bonked during moving the yard, it will be easy to replace. I am not going to be doing the wiring myself. However, good track operation will take precedence over maintenance or construction convenience. This construction is sparking some action over at S-Mod. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/S-Mod Stop by and join us if you have not already. It will be by FAR the best time that you have had since the Plumbers Picnic of '29....
