Hi All --

I use the O version on the SLE&P, not so much for iits throw, but so I can
put my paws on them. I put them near the edge of the table and rod over to
the turnout so I don't have to reach (knock something over) and to keep them
out of the scenery. Many times they are hidden "inside" a table edge
mounted structure.

I also use just plain wire from turnout to table edge using nails and screws
to act as guides, or if there is scenery, brass tubing. If you use screws
near the "control" end (not the turnout end) of the wire you can tighten
them to add friction to hold the points in place. If you use the brass
tubing, a very slight zee bend in the wire OR the tubing, NOT BOTH, will do
the same thing. I bend the end of the wire up, drill a hole in a 55
gallon drum or some other scenery detail made of metal, and use the detail
as a push-pull hand hold.

Have fun!
