I am surprised that there were not many S scalers at the NMRA National Train
Show. The NASG had many new products from S venders on display.
There we a lot of new products, not passenger cars but other products. In
fact I have not seen anyone make a list of the products and place it here.
I was very busy working my booth and unable to make a note of all the new
items. Maybe one of the NASG staff could put the list here.

Besides myself I think Ron from Des Plaines Hobbies was the only other S
scale company that was at the show. Where were the other manufactures?
Great job to the NASG staff that manned the NASG booth and to the Southern
California S Gaugers and their S module setup.

The turn out by S scalers was very low and I did not sell enough S items to
even pay for the booth.

Subject: Re: {S-Scale List} S standard turn of the century (1900) passenger
kits or?

Hi Jerry;

Welcome to the group :)

I lived in Colorado near Parker for three years. It was kind of hard to
return to the flatlands of Kansas...

Good luck finding passenger car kits.

Old timers to S will have some ideas on stuff issued way back, but since I
have been active in S the past ten years or so, I have seen nothing new in
the way of kits.

The S Fest in Milwaukee in November would be a place to start, as would the
Yahoo group, Available S gauge.

Just from reading the posts, what most people seem to be doing is buying AM
or similar cars and then getting styrene sides made by a company that others
will recall, and then doing extensive "kit" bashing.

Cheers :)
