Just to prove I am really from another planet, I have used point
pressure as the only source of power for "always live" frogs for 25+
years and have never had a problem. Of course it should be said that I
like the SwitchMaster turnout motors because they apply a really firm
pressure to the throwbar. Have not used hand throws and so cannot
comment on them. I wonder what the fellas on Pluto use? I am from
