Bored? Not me. Just getting warmed up. I wonder how many different
RR's owned/used/leased USRA 0-6-0s or something very similar?
To me, an 0-6-0 is the perfect starting loco for a new manufacturer due
to: (1) never before made in scale (except for the slope backed tender
PRR style by Rex way back when I had a full head of hair, and (2) never
done in brass although one was announced about five years ago, and (3)
smaller and simpler and easier to make than a heavy Mike, and (4) lots
of pent up demand for a small steam switcher (opinion for sure, and
maybe even a fact).
Back to the Mikes, maybe a gaudy cheap date with lotsa makeup for the
guys who follow SP's Daylight scheme.
