Bob Werre's post about the Alton, KS elevator not having a place for trucks
to dump the grain prompted me to email AMB and ask.
The reply is below.
And BTW, I saw only one other person who seemed be interested in seeing the
Alton elevator in S.
Are we the only ones?

Hi,
This particular elevator, as originally built, had truck or wagon doors on
either side of the main structure allowing for the vehicle to be driven
inside to dump its load. Our kit also has these doors, but may not be
visible in the photos you have seen.
