Now, you already got me to increase the verticle spacing using that same
argument. My hypothetical freind simply won't be able to enter staging. I
don't think that's an issue especially since I already told him not to bring
his 80' passenger cars. The visible portion of the layout has no parallel
tracks on curves except the main yard which has much wider spacing.

Just a thought here......what if a friend brings over something larger
and would like to run it on your layout? Like maybe a passenger car?
Would it make sense to provide for that potential event? Just a
