For some first hand impressions of doing this, talk with some outdoor
model railroaders (G scale) who have been doing this for years. Of
course they have more room for batteries than us indoor types. Dirty
track problems are certainly minimal this way. Most of the G scale
guys seem to complain about leafs (leaves?), twigs and snow. I guess
everyone has their problems.

modelers?

Unless you voluntarily choose to change everything you own, it will
have no effect on what you do. Just another option in addition to
DC, DCC, AC, etc. Each person can make his own choice. No one is
forced to change anything. The PSP (Power System Police) will not
come knocking on your door.

"S"hame on you! Tsk, tsk, and so forth. Maybe the new owner will
offer you a better deal to sign up now. Let's ask. Maybe a special
group rate for all 800 of us?

It is too early to have any thoughts about the new magazine. I've
just gotten out of bed. Gimmee a few hours to wake up.

time?

I'd think he would make a public announcement at some point in time.
Hopefully before he asks for subscription money. Then we'd know more
or less what we are buying.
