A A R has always said that the maximum safe coupling speed is 4 mph.  How do we 
measure that here? :)

  One way to keep them from popping out is quit making them PRR-style
  "hard joints". Scale 40MPH couplings is just a bit of overkill, and
  doesn't couple them any more securely :)
