S Scale is 1.36 times the size of HO, so the S Scale 22-1.2 "minimum" quoted in
the brochure works out to 16-1/2 inch radius in HO. I guess Kalmbach hasn't
updated itself from the days of the Rex 0-4-0T.

Bob, you left out TT for Too Tiny. How about Half Offal for HO?

I think that is what an 18" radius in HO works out to in S scale. I
remember a crusty old timer years ago referring to Z scale as Z-Z-Z-Z,
  N, as "N"othing, HO as "H"ow "O"rdinary, and O as "O"bnoxious. He
never mentioned S, which I assume could only be "S"uperior. I think he
  worked in OO ("O"h-"O"h) scale
