Hi Robyn ,
after my conversions of the GP9 into GP9R I can say - general it
wouldn't a problem to build these locomotives - just a lot of work.
The problem are the different compartment doors of the long hood. I
would replace them by thin etched doors. The GP11 is a difficult job
because of its very different long hood - but possible. No fear - do it !!
