If you're opening this question up to everyone on the list, I'd throw my two
cents worth in and say that there's probably quite a bit of demand for this
product, not only based upon the responses that Ed is getting but also from
the prices that I've seen for similar pieces on Ebay.  So my question to you
is what would it take for your woodworker associate to produce similar
pieces in S scale?  I have samples that he could use, if that's what you're
looking for.  I would recommend that he produce the express reefer arched
roof and the clerestory roof, and a streamlined roof section like the ones
that JC Models used.  Those would be popular in S-scale.  Since Northeastern
quit making them, there's a real void in our scale when it comes to
passenger car roof materials.
