Rusty, It is Polly Scale. I guess I've been sniffing something too long. I don't know what I was thinking. Anyhow I reread the bottle and it says distilled water or their thinner which I don't have here. I haven't done a whole lot of painting lately so I guess I'm just not up to speed on this newer paint.

The 50 or so different bottles of Scalecoat I have here I thin with Scalecoat thinners, more or less. Now there is a Floquil product called "Grimy Black". I've used it before and thinned it with the Floquil thinners, have even used xylene and the Scalecoat thinners with much success. I haven't tried water though, don't think it works. Floquil makes something called, "Polly Scale", or is it, "Polyscale"? It thins with water. I don't use the stuff, but then I'm pretty much an old cynical guy set in his ways. You get that way when you've painted a couple thousand brass models. Maybe it is just the fumes. Rusty --- In [email protected], "strain97009" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > HELP!!
