Here is what I've done, using the Bachmann On30 trolley motor and a set of
SHS diesel wheels.

Here is my ModelPower HO-DDT (just slightly longer than the Hustler), ready
for the paintshop, using this regauged mechanism.

Continuing on in the photo album, you'll find Alan Carroll's details on
putting the original 16.5 mm gauged mechanism in the ModelPower DDT, making
an On30 (really Sn42) critter.  Alan's procedures work fine after widening
and only need to be modified to handle 1:64 coupler height.

1. splay the wheels on the axels to run on Tomalco
2. configure the interior to accept a Tsunami decoder and speaker.
