I have a Digitrax Chief system. I have read that programming the Tsunami decoder requires additional power for the programming track. I am interested in using the DecoderPro software application. I plan on buying the LocoBuffer (USB version) to facilitate the communication between my computer and the programming track.
My question is this: Assuming the above-mentioned setup, to program the Tsunami, do I also need something like the "PowerPax DCC Programming Booster" (http://www.tonystrains.com/technews/powerpax.htm) or SoundTraxx "PTB-100 Programming Track Booster" (http://www.soundtraxx.com/products/dcc/ptb100.htm) to provide the extra power needed for programming, or does the LocoBuffer provide enough "oomph" for the programming track? Thanks, - Peter. ------------------------------------------------------------ Peter Vanvliet ([email protected]) http://www.fourthray.com/ http://www.fourthray.com/Peter/ Houston, Texas ------------------------------------------------------------ [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ------------------------------------ Yahoo!
