Ed,

We have been working on the development of an inventory tool called THE
SUPPLY CAR UPLOAD TOOL that will allow a seller to upload anything they want to
sell THE SUPPLY CAR MARKETPLACE which will go online at www.thesupplycar.com on
August 15 2010.

Initially, the upload software will allow the owner of model railroad items
to create an inventory for their estate planner to use when you are not there
to assist your survivors sell at a fair price your treasured items.

If you would like information on THE SUPPLY CAR UPLOAD TOOL and THE SUPPLY
CAR MARKETPLACE contact me off list and I will forward to you the information
that we will be supplying at our clinic at 0800 on Friday at the NASG in DULUTH
next week.

Thanks,

Bob McCarthy

I generally agree that S is a good place to be financially...and not just for
brass. The S market does appear to be stronger than HO. It would seem that
the specific brass item is still what is most important. Supply & demand. I
recently sold off all of my P-B-L Sn3 brass, as I'm now fully into S standard
after 30 years of Sn3. Some of the WSLCo Shays fetched upwards to $2,500.
None of the locos or cars sold at "distressed" prices...and most were premium
priced.

It really was a travesty to see those fine SPng engines go so cheaply. They
are very fine models. However, there just are not many Sn3 modelers for the
SPng. Same sort of problem for C&S equipment, complicated by the fact that the
C&S brass engines are all Overland products.

I did an Ed L. and cleaned out a lot of unwanted "stuff" from the ol' closet a
month ago and let Keith Wiseman sell it off on eBay. We did really well on
everything...wood, plastic, brass. How about $92 for a mint Ambroid snowplow
kit? Amazingly, everything sold at very fair prices to both seller and buyer.
 No giveaways. Ya never know.
