What are you using for horsepower? Minimum radius on the layout is? Whose underside details are you using (I am still awaiting my order that I made from Bob M at the convention)? Thanks for the photos! Bill Winans Prescott Valley, AZ I finally finished up the full 12 car California Zephyr train set yesterday. Photos are posted in the Photos section under "BUDD California Zephyr". The Alclad II paint on these cars sure looks nice, but it is nearly impossible to photograph. These cars represent the 1951-1952 version of the CZ when the 6/5 Sleeper was added and before the 16 Section Sleeper was converted to a coach. It includes the "New York through sleeper" that alternated days between cars from the NYC and PRR (the PRR's Silver Rapids is on this train ...Yeah, Bill Lane!). Important is that these photos include models of the 72 foot baggage car, the dining car and the dome observation, for those that have asked about them off line. The Observation car isn't a perfect match on the end roof slope, but it is as close as I can get without doing it from scratch (this is supposed to be a AM conversion KIT anyway). Anyone wanting details or wishing to build or buy a full CZ, please contact me off line. These cars go together pretty quickly once you have built one or two.
