Thanks for the info. I use the original and the newer AM trucks without
troubles, though I do have to weight the cars just a bit (those under floor
details ought to be just enough!), but my curves are considerably larger.
I was going to change everything over to the cast plastic trucks with
details because of their looks, but then after I adjusted the newer versions
with spacers under the journals to lower the car and saw the lights within,
I decided to keep the mix.
The streamlined train was supposed to be pulled by a "Daylight" GS-4 in
SLE&P paint, but it just didn't fit, so the train is now pulled by a pair of
RRM plated E8a's. Total train length is 12 cars plus the two E's, so it
does use up some track!
