Sorry for another song, but I am reading a book about a Gram Parsons, who I do
not know much about, as he was a member of the Byrd's, folk-rock group, of the
1960s, who wrote Eight Miles High, a classic song, and believe it or not, it
was Tim Flannery, 3rd base coach for the San Francisco Giants, who happened to
be a very good musicians with 10 CDs of his own, was telling me a bit about
Gram and what books to get on his life as I email him from time to time. Gram
died in 1973 as I was 18.
So as I am reading this book, I wanted to hear some of his songs, and one is
called Wheels, as he wanted to tour the states on a train the notes below the
video says. But there are some great pictures of trains, in the steam era as
well as some older shots of diesel engines.
