Way to go Chris, pushing the scale side is good. Frequently I've been
in conversations with a group of 'modeler-stramgers' type folks.
Somehow, I'll mention being in S--and of course, one of the group will
say that they had Flyer as a kid and that's where the interest seems to
die! I later find out that most are really the RTR blue box types, so
they're no better than most of us!
Locally our largest all-scale model club is probably 75% HO, 15%N, 5% G
with one or two token 0 guys and yours truly, in S. We once had two S
guys, but he switched to 0n3 and then later passed away. However, he
was elected president of the group and now I've been asked to also take
that position. So S guerillas can infiltrate groups and influence them
from that perspective. Of course, those who know me, might be worried
that I might be run out of office for 'high crimes and corruption', but
we'll see! Additionally, our guerilla activity is now to the point
where I believe we might have three members who are S friendly!
