Ed and All
Many years ago (at least 20 years) I built 6 at one time. I don't like to
make wood look like metal, so I built the basic body and then put .010 styrene
over it and built the rest of if with styrene. They still look good today. I
lettered 3 for Weyerhaeuser and 3 for GB&W. The GB&W decals were no good, so I
had new ones made. I had to buy 25 sets, so I have a few left (22 sets) if you
want GB&W.

Subject: {S-Scale List} Weyerhaeuser box car

  Hi All,

Going through some old boxes (haven't we all), I found a kit that I must have
bought in the eighties or maybe the seventies. It's a Quality Craft Models
Weyerhaeuser box car kit. There is one small photo of the car on the
instruction
sheet. Does anyone have any information on the kit or the car? I'd like a
large
photo or sketch of the car to help understand what I'm trying to build. The
car
is a bit unusual and I think it opens from the side with a different type of
door. Any help will be appreciated.
