Ed,  I believe there is one on display at the Illinosis State RR 
Museum--so pack some lunch and head that way! ha

I purchased one built-up from Dick Karnes a decade ago, and have one 
half done.  It's certainly fits with any reasonable modern period and I 
run mine often on our modules.  I think doing what Roy mentions, by 
using plastic might be the way to go to speed construction.
