Buffalo Creek Graphics (http://www.trainresource.com/Home.html) located in Buffalo, New York, bought Crown Models molds in the late 1990's. They bought both Crown's S-gauge molds and their O-gauge molds. But shortly after they bought the molds, they ran into some legal problems involved with using the S-gauge molds, and they have not used them since. They made a few S-gauge cars, continued making O-gauge cars, and currently offer a number of O-gauge cars. They made several S-gauge cars and as of a few months ago still had in inventory two Delaware and Hudson reefers which they wanted to sell as a pair. Unless something happens to change the legal problem tying up their S-gauge molds, I'm told by Buffalo Graphics that we will not see anymore Crown Models cars from them.
