I ordered several cars a few weeks ago and was quite pleased when they arrived,
so much so that I just placed a second order.
Down the road I do expect at least several of them are going to get stripped
and repainted, but at a price of $12-13 each (including the shipping), I don't
see I can go far wrong. The John Armstrong PRS ACF covered hoppers even
include sprung metal trucks with metal wheelsets.
I haven't seen any better prices on ebay, nor even that many better in my
whirlwind buying at Duluth.
