All,

Good news to report, bigger turns are coming to my basement in the near
future. I hope to have trains running on them before Spring. I am getting 4
new slightly larger corner module frames. My J1 does not like the turns I
have now, so I am going up to about 55". Other changes/improvements will be
using S Helper flex track for the main lines code 100 everywhere else and
LONG legs - possibly a 60" high track height.

It is possibly going to be all new by the time I am done. I have to consider
what I want in the space I have. I own the former Don DeWitt yard and my
original 8 track yard. I have yet to see Don's yard assembled since I bought
it about 3 years ago. It is in need of some refurbishing. In reality my
original yard MIGHT be for sale sometime next year. It is S-Mod and can have
trains running in an hour flat. I am not rushing to a decision on that, but
I am going to probably 30" wide throughout for scenery space. That yard is
24" wide with almost no scenery space.

No matter what I do it is going to be a loop in the approximate center of my
basement with a possible final footprint of about 12 x 30. Just getting
trains running in my basement will be excellent. I have my little test loop
up now but I want to be able to run everything I have.

Thank You,
Bill Lane
