Judging from past history of record number of posts in a particular time of
year, the Season Of Cranky should be arriving in about a week. I would like
to avoid it

I would MUCH prefer that we are long term current S Scalers dive head first
into 1 of the long dormant projects we have (and as Pieter so correctly
mentioned) BUILD it and talk about that. Let's not strap on into the
keyboard and grind away on the inability to buy more new stuff that we can't
buy and not build. I see the most recent posts as evolving into a long
slippery slope with no clear beginning or end - and certainly no resolution.

Not to worry about the newbies. My current newbie success story has just
made some major S purchases in spite of the fact he is a LONG way from S
Scale Central. S Scale is like water - it is self leveling and all works out
in the end.

Chins up - ***positive thoughts*** - cruise into this holiday weekend
thankful for the great S friends and things S Scale we have.

Thank You,
Bill Lane
