I still use DC. Rode my bicycle thru Europe for 6 weeks.
DCC stands for the real Washington D. C.
The second C stands for CONFUSED

What I forgot to mention or I did not convey very well is like many things
going DCC is a committeemen of time, effort & money. Once the decision is
made to do it then DO IT. Don't look back. When you got your drivers license
you probably did not ride your bicycle any more. Equally I left DC well
behind to pretty much never return again.
So again, the fact that NCE does not allow locos without decoders to run has
not been a problem for me in the slightest.
