The two kits given to me are high rail.

Rance from Norway gave them kindly to me and they are on the layout.

That's my recollection also. 20n bucks a kit, give or take, with scale wheels 
only. I hear a lot of grousing about AM rolling stock, but I still consider 
those early kits a good buy.

I'll contradict several of the respondents and say that the original 
kits were scale only. I don't recall any hi-rail wheels or claws even 
being offered for the first year or two. Also I believe AM offered to 
build up the kits for $1 extra early on!
