The current crop--and most recent crop of refrigerator cars--does not include
anything like an SFRD prototype. SFRD, however, converted many of its cars to
the plug-door type and had its conversion program going as early as 1953, so I
understand.
Does the AM plug-door car resemble even remotely anything the SFRD came up
with? Or could the AM plug-door car be made to look like an SFRD car with
slight modifications?
