take what you need and leave the rest. I'm attracted to S scale by the size and great running qualities of the products available. I have no interest in the American Flyer part of things, and just disregard the posts related to that subject. That's what the delete button is for ! Without the AF contingent, we'd be scratchbuilding everything. It's a great size, really nice people as a whole, in fact the best I've met and i\ve been in model railroading for a long time and in a number of scales.. laid back, and really into what they model. Prototype is the way I go, and 90-95% is close enought for me when it comes to models. I can apreciate the total accurate work done by the guys here, someday that could be me, but I doubt it. Am not into freelance, or as i call it "fantasy" model railroading.....selected compression is mandatory uness one has a warehouse in which to build their pike. Being less critical online is an art and skill, and promoting S scale is better done with a good attitude. my 2 cents or half dollar.....
