  Hi Jace, Actually it's too bad he didn't keep it cause I bet he comes 
crawling back one of these days.Once you've had S you can't regress :>)
 
  I bought a few S pieces years ago then I thought the selection and price per 
pound were just not up to the O level I was used to so I sold them and built a 
few more O models then sat and looked at those big honkin trains and thought do 
I really want to dedicate that much real estate to something so frivolous? Even 
though the scale difference is just 1:64 versus 1:48 the real difference is 
squared due to modeling area and not just length so some quick calculations 
made me realize the more "expensive" S trains were a bargain when the real 
estate costs were factored in. Plus I really like the size for handling, 
viewing, and operating.
So I had to go and re-buy the S stuff I originally had for more than I sold it 
for and I also have even more O stuff to turn over than I had when I first 
tried S and to make it even more pleasant the O re-sale market sucks right now 
while S is ticking right along........dave
